Cyrus you are awesome. All the best buddy. We (class of 1975) will be rooting for you all the way. Proud to be your classmate.
Thanks Ila. Really appreciate your kind words & encouragement all the way from NZ.
Hi Cyrus, Well clearly you are as mad as we always suspected, but seriously it is for a great cause and I wish you all the luck in the world and will be sponsoring you. Of course if I wasn’t so busy I would have happily joined you but the pressures of work you know……………..I am sure there is no blackberry signal up there.
Hi Lester, Thanks for your support. Actually there is a good signal at the very top (if it’s not snowing or blowing a gale)…. and you can use a solar charger for your phone (if it does not freeze)!!
Wow…this is serious stuff, Mr Mistry !! ;o). Don’t forget to take your anemometer to measure the wind speed of the gales at that height!! And take a lot of pictures…
All the best for this adventure. Donation will follow on pay day !!
Hi Matt, thanks for your kind words and your support. I will be taking loads of photos and writing a full report on my return!! Not sure I want to carry an anemometer all the way up the hill though.
How exciting! You are one pretty amazing guy!
Thank you to two amazing people and very good friends.
Well done – and good luck.
Hi David. Thank you for your kind words and also for your contribution to the CFF.
Cyrus, This is a marvellous and noble project. You have my admiration and my contribution!
Good luck, train hard, and have a great climb, my friend.
Thanks Dinesh. Really appreciate your kind words. I am looking forward to the big event. Although the training is very tough it will pay off on the day.
Wow!! What an awesome thing to do. Knowing how you hate the cold, make sure you take plenty of woollies!! Sending lots of love, luck and prayers from New Zealand for a safe and successful trip. Shan and Chris xx
Thanks guys. I am doubling up on all my woolies. The best ones are made in NZ of course!! Hope you are settling down well in your new life down under.
Wishing you every success in your adventure and safe travels
Thanks Asvin, much appreciated!!!
Cyrus, you are amazing! What a wonderful cause. Good luck! The Moore family supports you!
Thanks Meldie, really appreciate the support from all the family!
Enjoy the challenge that is Kilimanjaro. Listen to the wise advice you will be given…….and ignore all of it, other than don’t forget the talcum powder!! Your pain, their gain
It’s the stuff memories are made of, so we wish you well. Lots of love T & L x
Great advice from the experts who have done the trek, thanks. Talcum powder is now on my kit list!!
Good luck Cyrus ! A big challenge for a big cause. See you at our annual ‘Christmas’ get-together to hear all about it.

… lend a hand … this really is SURSUM CORDA. my respects & my best wishes
Hi Jurek. Really appreciate your kind words. For others reading this comment, “Sursum Corda” (lift up your hearts) is the motto of our old school, St Joseph’s in Darjeeling (nicknamed North Point). The finest school in the Himalayas!
I wish you all the best of luck. rather you than me. Well done Cyrus. Marv
Hi Marv. Thanks for your good wishes. I may well be saying “rather you than me” when I am exhausted and struggling for breath on the mountain.
That is some challenge you have set yourself !! Good luck – and stay safe. Conny xoxo
Hi Conny. Thanks for your kind thoughts. Yes it is a formidable challenge but I am looking forward to it.
What a wonderful cause. These poor children don’t ask to be born into these impoverished environments. You’re a wonderful man Cyrus, lets hope you can make a change xx
PS – Don’t forget the Glucosaomine
Hi Lorraine. Thank you for your kind words. You are absolutely right about these poor kids but it’s a team effort – you are all helping to make a difference with your contributions.
